In fact, besides pay by bank/credit card or in cash, you can pay by 购物卡gòuwùkǎ (shopping card) in China. 购物卡is a kind of cards released by supermarkets or department stores and prepaid by consumers in a certain value.

In China, it is important to book tickets in advance.

Especially for train and domestic plane tickets during the chinese new year holidays because every chinese people go back home... If you don't book long time ago, you won't have train ticket, and plane tickets will be very expensive.
